These are the value statements we developed a year ago. What do you think?

VALUE

STATEMENTS

Technologies, both hard and soft, are changing the way everyone thinks of their organization, their role in it, and the way the carry out that role.
Sharing of experiences with new technologies and tools will enable new learnings, refinement of products to meet real need, and general growth of workplace learning.
Contribute in a professional, open, and constructive way, willing to take risks, and defend unpopular stances to further understanding of their benefits.
There is likely no one best way to teach or learn, so divergent ideas and theories should be welcomed and explored for the benefits they bring.
Instruction or facilitation of learning is often a process of providing exemplars and guidance for learners to mimic, adapt, and combine with their own knowledge.
Have fun. Afterall, we are a blog!

But how do I do a wiki?

Wikis are a bit daunting when you first start to use them, but they quickly become almost second nature once you get the hang of them. There are a couple of resources that can help you get going and feel comfortable with your contributions. Even if you are familiar with wikis, you might want to take a few moments to learn how pbwiki style works and/or how this particular wiki is set up. Here are links to the resources:

So give it try. If you mess up, try again. Wikis can be alot of fun, but it takes practice. (If you just can't figure it out, drop me an email at blogmeister at mac dot com and I'll try to clean it up for you when I can.)
